“Now I get it… energy is the fundamental
thing I have neglected. I was like a new
high performance car running on little or no
fuel. Trying to work 12 hour days, survive
on little sleep, fuelling up with chocolate
and coffee and being too tired to play with
the children was not right and not
sustainable”
“I expected a woolly wellbeing session – this
was like nothing I have ever attended –
inspirational”
• Happiness
• Lack of sleep
• Lack of movement

Emotional Energy & Resilience

“This session was great – it did not focus on the negatives of stress management – it focused on how we can
improve capacity, resilience and performance. We need to build capacity and rise to the ever increasing demands –
this session showed me how to do this on a personal and team level.”
Energy4business recognises the need for leaders who are healthy, resilient and able to lead through times of significant
challenge. This module offers a strategic approach to resilience and recognises that it is only possible to orchestrate
the resilience of others if leaders have first taken charge of their own resilience. It explores the concept of personal
and team resilience and explores psychological wellbeing, stress and mental toughness. Leaders are taught how to
identify sources of pressure that affect energy and resilience and then act to reduce or eliminate them
(supports HSE guidelines on Management Standards)
Developing Excellence & Being Exceptional

“Mark and Bernie are a perfect
combination for team
development. Mark takes the
notion of personal well being on
into the realms of team dynamics.
Bernie takes no prisoners in his
pursuit of excellence through
individual commitment and the
unity and imperative of teamwork.
They are themselves an inspiring
team.”

“What does it take to win Olympic medals, what does it take to be exceptional. This session was hard
hitting but sometimes we just need someone to tell us to think differently”
Discipline and excellence matter in business and in sports performance. This session discusses the mental
and physical training required to reach high performance and provides motivation and inspiration to
succeed. Using real life experiences gained by working with Colin McCrae and some of the worlds top
racing drivers in F1 to World Rally and the British Olympic Rowing team; the session offers a unique
insight into human performance. It also highlights the necessary ingredients needed to achieve the
highest level of personal and team performance. Finally, the session reviews some key lessons learnt by
athletes to cope with the “bad times” and how to overcome unhealthy conflict in teams.
Go Make it Happen

“Its now 4 weeks since the course and I have built small but significant changes into my day – the idea of morning
meetings works well with everyone. I now have energy to spend time with the family - thanks”
This session helps delegates to take action and set key personal, business targets and behaviours that will increase
energy and build resilience. This session emphasizes the importance of “doing”, not just “thinking”.
