The Empty Box M message appears when the hole punch box becomes full. To empty the
box:

1 Open the finisher door (Door K).

2 Grasp the handle on the hole punch box, lift the box up slightly, and then pull it straight
out.

3 Discard the contents of the box.

4 Reinstall the hole punch box.
Lift the box up slightly, and then slide the box all the way into the finisher.

Note: Make sure the bottom of the hole punch box is fully seated in the finisher. If
the box is not fully in place, a Box M Missing message appears.
5 Close the finisher door (Door K).
