Your revolver has been manufactured with the finest materials and craftsmanship in order to provide you with enduring dependability. FIREARM SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. As a firearm owner you assume very demanding responsibilities. A firearm is a potentially dangerous product and it must always be treated as such. It is very important to read this Instruction Manual and acquaint yourself with the right manipulation of this firearm before its first loading. Principles of correct handling with a firearm 1. Handle every firearm as it is loaded. Always keep it pointed in a safe direction to avoid injury or damage from an unintended firing. 2. Always keep your revolver unloaded until you are ready to fire it. Be sure your firearm is unloaded before passing it to another person, before storing it, or whenever releasing it out of your sight. 3. Before loading, make a close inspection the interior of the barrel and the cylinder chambers to be sure they are clean and free of obstructions. Any obstruction in the barrel and cylinder chambers may result in a damaged firearm and possible personal injury. 4. Always carry your firearm unloaded and perform any manipulation with it only when empty. 5. Only just before each shot is fired draw the cock and press the trigger. 6. When firing use safety glasses and ear protection. Any bystander should be well behind the person shooting and should also use eye and ear protection. 7. Hold the firearm using a two handed grip. NEVER PLACE ANY PORTION OF YOUR HAND OR FINGERS IN FRONT OF THE CYLINDER AS ESCAPING GASES WILL CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY. 4 FIREARM HANDLING Your 5-shot revolver is a single action revolver. This means, that the hammer must be drawn back or cocked with the thumb before each shot is fired. The 5-shot single action revolver has two possible positions. Basic position In this position the hammer is slightly back and away from the receiver. The hammer is on the safety gear so the gun can’t fire even if the cock is hit from behind or the gun falls on it. Only if you pull the trigger the cock can be pulled 3 mm toward the firing pin and pull it. Then the firing pin touches the cartridge. Full-cock position The hammer can be placed in the Full-cock position by pulling the hammer with thumb as far back as it will go. You will hear a clicking sound when the hammer will now be locked in this position and the cylinder will be rotated. Now you can shoot by pulling the trigger. 5 LOADING To load the revolver, follow the instruction: A. The cock is in lowered position. Using your thumb to open the loading flap, swing it out until it stops. This sequence allows the cylinder to rotate in a counter clockwise direction. B. Place charge into the desired chambers and push them until they stops. C. Before you close the loading flap make you sure that no cartridge hit the frame. If there is such charge, push it in the chamber or change it. Then close the loading flap. WARNING Function of your gun (when you use a special ammunition with bottle cases, for example .308 Picra or .300WP) depends on cleanness of chambers, especially before inserting the cartridges. For example, when there are particles of unburned powder from the previous shot in the chamber, the new cartridge can’t be exactly placed into the chamber and causes problems with rotation of cylinder. !!! It is very important to keep the surface of chambers clean, dry and degreased!!! 6 D Rotate the cylinder very slightly counter clockwise until it locks. The gun is now ready to fire. You can check the number of fired charges by reading the numbers of chambers on the cylinder. This is especially good in metallic silhouette shooting. UNLOADING A. Leave the hammer in lowered position. Open the loading flap. B. Push the ejector tab (located under the barrel) toward the cylinder to eject the cartridge or case from the cylinder. Repeat until all chambers are empty. C. Blow the chambers through. Load the revolver again or close the loading flap. WARNING Ejecting of cases should go easily. When the cartridges are slow down it signify that you laborate too hard and the pressures are too high. Please, keep the manufacturer´s recommendation, when laborating cartridges. REMOVING THE CYLINDER AND CLEANING To remove the cylinder for cleaning or inspection, follow these steps: A The revolver is unloaded and the hammer is lowered. Remove the screw from the head of cylinder axis pin located in the face of the receiver. B Grip the head of the cylinder axis pin and slide it all the way forward until it touches the ejector tab. C Open the loading flap and remove the cylinder from the left side of revolver with rolling motion. Use care not to scratch or damage the cylinder by forcing it out of the receiver. Then you can clean the barrel and cylinder with quality cleaning solvent in ordinary procedure. It is important to clean and lightly lubricate the cylinder axis pin and related holes before replacing the cylinder. If this is not done, the cylinder will become difficult to turn when using the revolver. This revolver is made from high quality stainless steel, the cylinder is made from titanium alloys. However, while most stainless steel are rust resistant, they are not rust proof. We recommend that the surface of your gun be cleaned regularly with a quality gun solvent and wiped periodically with an oiled cloth in order to maintain the excellent appearance of its original good look and increase its lifetime period. 7 ADJUSTMENT SIGHTS A Front sight Front sight is replaceable by removing the front sight base screw M4. B Rear sight Vertical adjustment: Horizontal adjustment: 1 click/22mm on 100 m 1 click/26mm on 100 m During the shooting the gun, adjust the central hit position onto rear sight. TRIGGER RESISTANCE On the upper, locking cogs inside surface, is screw with inside hexagon. By means of this screw and enclosed keys you can set the resistance in a wide range, roughly 400 – 2000g. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. Check and regularly tighten all screws. 2. If the cylinder station becomes sluggish or sticky, this is frequently caused by a powder residue build up between the cylinder and the cylinder axis pin. The cylinder axis pin and related holes should be periodically cleaned and oiled with a quality oil. 3. It is not advisable to dry-fire your Picra revolver, as this may damage the firing pin. If you want to dry-fire your revolver use the inserting imitation of charges. 4. If you reloading, use the general safety rules and recommendations according to reloading tables. 5. Do not provide the stretching the hammer too fast and intensively, to prevent the damages during the cylinder stopping about arresting latch.
