CR Title:
New ECC and SEMOpx Member registration timeline including a secondary
deadline date
The current member registration process requires participants to submit all
registration forms for SEMOpx and ECC by 7 August 2017 in order to be included
in Market Trial and Go-Live. This includes confirmation of signed agreements with
Settlement Banks/Clearing Members. This date is a Level 2 Milestone (Milestone
#11).
In response to participant feedback received in Business Liaison Groups, a
revision to the requirements for this 7 August 2017 date is proposed, along with
the inclusion of a later deadline date of 7 February 2018 for some requirements of
the SEMOpx and ECC registration.
Description of Change:
The proposed changes are as follows:
1. Remove Milestone #11 DAM/IDM application deadline (for inclusion in
Market Trial
Last date for registration of participants in the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) or
Intra-Day Market (IDM).

Baseline date: 7 August 2017.
3. Add Milestone #11b DAM/IDM application deadline (for inclusion in GoLive) Part 1 GL
Deadline date for new members not participating in Market Trial to submit
SEMOpx
exchange
applications
and
ECC
applications
(excluding
confirmation of the clearing members/settlement bank) for registration for GoLive.
Baseline date: 1 December 2017.
4. Add Milestone #11c DAM/IDM application deadline (for inclusion in
Market Trial and Go-Live) Part 2 MT&GL
Deadline date for:
a. Confirmation of clearing member/settlement bank for each member.
b. Application for changes to NCM/DCP setup for the remainder of Market
Trial and Go-Live.
c. Existing ECC members not participating in Market Trial to submit SEMOpx
exchange applications and ECC applications (including confirmation of the
clearing members/settlement bank) for registration for Go-Live.
Baseline date: 7 February 2018

These proposed changes were communicated to the BLG on the 18 May 2017.
The Transition Registration Plan will be updated to reflect the revised dates
above.
