CNLU Legal Aid Cell has successfully undertaken various initiatives and the following are some of its activities:
“Know Your Fundamental Rights” at Bihar Dalit Vikas Samiti, Patna on 19th and 26th July 2011.
Legal Awareness to the Domestic Workers on 21st
August 2011.
“Law for Laymen: A Human Rights Perspective” at Mokama on 25th September 2011.
Legal Awareness Programme for the Principals, Teachers and Secretaries of Private Schools at Women’s
College, Patna on 13th October 2011.
Organised an awareness programme at Manorama Vidyapeeth, Off Ashok Rajpath Patna,

Few Other Events
 Jehanabad jail visit for interviewing the under-trial prisoners on 15th
September, 22nd September and 6th October, 2013 with ten volunteers in
each visit collaborating with AMAN, an NGO working for the rights of
the prisoners.
 Organised one day programme at Sewa Kendra, Kurji, Patna on Rights
and protection of under trial prisoners in association with PUCL Patna.
 Organised one day programme at Kulharia Complex on Anti Human
Trafficking and Rights of the Domestic Workers in the month of
October 2013.
Organised one day legal awareness programme at Chakkaram on various topics including Rights of Information,
Consumers Right, Rights of arrested person (in form of a Nukkad Natak) for about 100 Dalit Youth of Bihar on
20th October 2013.
Organised one programme at Arunodaya,
Boring Canal Road, Patna on Rights of Consumers on
3rd December, 2013.
Collected Data for research on Run Away Children at Patna Railway Junction on 4th May 2013 with the support of Bal Sakha
Organised one day legal awareness programme for the Medical Personnel at Tripolia Social Service
Hospital, Gai Ghat, Patna, on Medical Laws and their implications on 2nd February 2014.
Participated and conducted one Legal aid camp at Mokama in which four volunteers of Legal Aid cell of our
university participated on 16 th August 2014
Organised legal awareness programme at Nawrathanpur, Near Postal Part, opposite to Bus stand Mithapur on
19th, 20th, 21st March, 2014 by way of Nukkad Natak, distribution of leaflets and forms in association
with CNLU NSS Cell.
Conducted one day Legal aid camp at Marium
manzil in which twenty volunteers of Legal Aid
cell of our university participated on

Legal Awareness Programme for Women of Self Help Groups in Begusarai on 12th September 2015.
Organized one day Legal Aid Programme at Sewa Sadan, Muzaffarpur for the youth on 5 th November 2015.
