FAQs: Tungsten Network supplier pricing How is supplier pricing changing? Tungsten Network, built on OB10 e-Invoicing, is making it easier for UK suppliers to invoice you. We are giving all suppliers free invoice transactions, and simplifying the pricing structure for suppliers who invoice you via the Web Form on the Tungsten Network Portal or Integrated Solution. With our new pricing structure, around 78% of the suppliers on our network will no longer pay for their transactions. From 1 July: We are giving Web Form suppliers 52 free invoice transactions per year o o o o If they need to use more, we have introduced a flat rate of £1.50 per invoice with a minimum purchase of 25 invoices Free invoice transactions will be replenished every 12 months Any unused, paid-for invoice transactions will expire 12 months from the date of purchase Please see our tariffs below for more detail on the pricing structure. Our Web Form tariff page on the website will be updated from 1 July We are giving Integrated Solution suppliers 520 free invoice transactions per year o o o Additional invoices will be charged against a new pricing structure in line with inflation Free invoice transactions will be replenished every 12 months Please see our tariffs below for more detail on the pricing structure. Our Integrated Solution tariff page on the website will be updated from 1 July What impact will the pricing change have on our supplier enrolment campaigns? Free transactions will have a positive effect on your supplier enrolment campaigns, as a significant number of suppliers will no longer pay for any of their transactions. This addresses a possible supplier objection to joining the network. We expect the increase in the transaction prices, in line with inflation, and the Integrated Solution annual fee to be neutral as the potential cost savings are still significant. How will suppliers already on the Tungsten Network Portal transition to the new structure? Web Form suppliers have 45 days to adopt the new pricing model and start to use their free invoices. They can make the change at any point. Integrated Solution suppliers will transition to the new structure when they renew their annual contract. How are payment methods changing? Suppliers may pay for transactions on the Tungsten Network Portal with PayPal, debit or credit card. Tungsten accepts Visa, Visa Debit and MasterCard. Integrated Solution suppliers may also select to pay by direct debit from their bank or auto pay with their credit card. We can no longer accept invoices for the payment of transactions. Why have you increased the transaction price? With our new pricing structure, around 78% of the suppliers on our network will no longer pay for their transactions. Suppliers with higher volumes will enjoy a simpler pricing structure with just one price. While the transaction fee has increased, this is the first rise since OB10, now Tungsten Network, was founded in 2000. Tungsten Network continues to represent good value, as alternative invoice submission methods remain more expensive, many of which do not guarantee delivery of suppliers’ invoices direct into their customers’ accounting systems. Suppliers’ free transactions can be used for submitting invoices to any customer on Tungsten Network. If you currently cover the cost of your suppliers’ invoices, the free transactions we provide will not be used when invoicing your organisation. What happens to any transactions that suppliers have already purchased? If suppliers have paid-for transactions on their account on 1 July, they will still show in their account and will remain subject to the original terms and conditions. Once a supplier has moved to our new pricing model, their purchased transactions will be used first. When purchased transactions have been depleted, suppliers will then start to use free transactions to submit invoices to their customers. Why are only UK suppliers affected? To ensure we fully understand how suppliers will respond to these changes we are rolling out the new pricing model among UK suppliers first. We plan to extend it globally later this year having amended it, if necessary, according to the results of this initial roll out. Are there plans to increase fees for buyers? Tungsten Network has no immediate plans to increase fees for buyers. The pricing change taking effect on 1 July 2014 addresses supplier pricing that has not changed in 14 years.
