Three Actions Before Solving
Before starting any type of algebraic
work in the Main application, there are
three useful actions to begin with.
Following these steps will ensure that the
screens on your handheld ClassPad
match the screens shown in these pdf's
and videos, assuming your ClassPad is
running the same operating system.
Starting in the Main application, the first
action is to tap Settings, Basic Format,
Default.
Change Number Format to Number 2
and Angle to Degrees.
Finally, tap Set.

The second is to tap Edit, Clear All
Variables, OK.
The third action is to tap Edit, Clear All,
OK so that you have a clear workspace to
ready to begin.
This ensures that any numerical values
assigned to single letter variables such as
x, y, X, Y, etc are cleared.
This last step is optional, but will help you
to exactly reproduce the screens seen in
these videos.
