Things To Take Note
• Do not enter the laboratory without the teacher's permission
• Follow instructions given by the teacher
• When heating substances, remember to wear safety
goggles
• Always place test tubes
in the test tube rack to
prevent breakage of the
test tubes and spillage of
its content
What You Should Not Do
1. Never taste or smell substances as
they may be harmful.
2. Never point test tubes towards anyone,
including yourself as they may get into
our eyes.
3. Never place flammable items near
naked fire as they may catch fire.
4. Never pour substances down the sink
unless instructed by teacher.
More Notes
We should always pay careful attention to the
instructions given and always be careful. We should
not play around in the laboratory as it is dangerous.
If anything happens, such as breaking of glassware
and spilling of chemicals, do inform the teacher.
By observing the rules and regulations, we will be
able to study in a safe laboratory.
