These Supplementary Regulations are in addition to the 2016 MSA Competitors Yearbook (Bluebook), the 2016 MSA
Official Drag Racing Rulebook and the 2016 FIA Drag Racing Rule Book.
Held under the General Regulations of the Motor Sports Association Ltd (incorporating the provisions of the International
Sporting Code of the FIA) and the Supplementary Regulations.

National B event is open to all UK racers who are members of SPRC or APIRA, holding a minimum of MSA National B
Licence (excluding Karts) and foreign competitors holding EC Licences (minimum National grade) bearing the EC flag and
endorsed with “Valid throughout the EC” running in Junior Dragster, Street Eliminator, Pro ET, Super Pro ET, Super Street,
Super Gas, Super Comp, Comp Eliminator, Funny Car, Jet Car.
International event is open to UK racers holding MSA International Race or Speed Licences and foreign competitors with
International Race/Speed Licences and starting permission from country of origin in Pro Modified, Pro Stock, Top Methanol
Funny Car, Top Methanol Dragster and Top Fuel.
SPRC & APIRA CLUB MEMBERSHIP CARDS WILL BE INSPECTED AT SIGNING ON.
The event will be held as a drag race over a 1/4 or 1/8 mile length course and is open to all eligible race cars for the
following classes:
Junior Dragster, Street Eliminator, Pro ET, Super Pro ET, Super Street, Super Gas, Super Comp, Comp Eliminator, Pro
Modified, Pro Stock, Top Methanol Funny Car, Top Methanol Dragster, Top Fuel, Funny Car, Jet Car.
Entry to the event opens January 2016 and closes Friday, 29th April 2016 with an entry fee of £170.00, £195.00 & £235.00,
plus electricity fee made payable to SPRC and sent to SPRC, P O Box 12, Rushden, Northants, NN10 0ZU. In addition
an Electricity fee of £65 for providing single phase 240 volt, 13 amps will be charged to all competitors.
Competitors wishing to upgrade to 3 phase 380 volt/16amp have to request this on the entry form and will be
charged an additional fee of £105. If not requested in advance on the entry form an additional fee will be incurred
at the event.
Maximum number of entries will be 250 with a minimum of 50.
Scrutineering will start at 7 am Friday morning until 6 pm, 7 am Saturday morning until 6pm. Any car arriving after 11 am
on Sunday 29 May maybe excluded from the event.
All cars must have race numbers visibly displayed to include prefix of class and number as issued by the organising club.
All cars will start in pairs where possible, start signal indicated by green light.
All competitors must have a fire extinguisher within their pit area to conform to Health & Safety requirements. This is in
addition to any fire extinguisher systems within race vehicles.
The posted prize fund for this event is trophies.
The Club reserves the right to refuse any entry without reason and abandon, cancel or postpone the meeting or alter the
programme of events and awards.
Judges of Fact for the event are MSA Scrutineer - TBA, Mr I Marshall, Mr D Warren, Mr S Horn & Mr R Bell who will judge
any track/race violations.
Results for the events will be available 1 hour after the close of the event.
Protests: Reference should be made to the 2016 MSA Year Book Section “O”.
Racers will pit as per final instructions.
The racing will start at 9.30 am Friday, 27th May, 9.30am Saturday, 28th May, 9.30 am Sunday 29th May & Monday 30th
May track conditions permitting.
Winner is determined by the first over the finish line in heads up classes or first over the finish line without breaking out of
their dialled in time if a handicapped race.

combination and have not received confirmation on the extra pit space will only be allocated the standard pit size of 6.7x17
metres.

Dear Racer, please note our pit form has been updated and now includes both electric and
additional facility requests, please take a moment to check you have completed all of the required

We are writing to you to ask for your help. As most of you know we have a limited area for pitting of
your vehicle and we normally have to squeeze everybody in and make best of what we have. It is
therefore essential that you give us your exact width and length dimensions so we can try to plan it as
properly as possible, please make the effort to measure your combination so that you can give us the
exact measurements. We will not guarantee a wider pit space than 7.00 meters and that will include
your awning. Those of you who have a wider combination will not be able to use your awning here at
Santa Pod and I advise you to make contact with us a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the event to see
if we can sort something out, but only after you have filled in the extra pit space form.
