• Faith is obedience to the point of
action
3. For radical obedience?
“ By faith Moses . . refused . . by faith
he chose . . by faith he considered . . by
faith . . by faith he left Egypt . . by faith
he kept the Passover” Heb. 11:23-29
• Faith is swimming upstream in
a downstream world
4. For the finish line?
“Therefore, since we have so great a
cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let
us also lay aside every encumbrance
and the sin which so easily entangles
us, and let us run with endurance the
race that is set before us” Heb. 12:1-2
• Faith is looking unto Jesus
only
5. For God’s loving discipline?
“MY SON, DO NOT REGARD LIGHTLY THE
DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD, nOR FAINT WHEN
YOU ARE REPROVED BY HIM; fOR THOSE
WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES,
AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE
RECEIVES” Heb. 12:5-6
• Faith is surrendering to God’s
will no matter what
6. For meeting Judge Jesus?
“See to it that you do not refuse Him
who is speaking . . much less will we
escape who turn away from Him who
warns from heaven . . YET ONCE MORE I
WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO
THE HEAVEN.” Heb. 12:25
• Faith is the conviction that God will
fulfill all His promises in His time
Faith welcomes God’s Word- do you?

the word (rhema) of Christ”
