April 2, 2014 11:30 – 12:30 COPH AUD 8240 Mabeline Hansberry Worker’s Compensation Wednesday The Workers’ Compensation training will provide you with a broad overview of how to assist your employees in the initial claim filing process. The Arkansas Public Employee Claims Division, who administers our Workers’ Compensation program, implemented a new process for employees to file onthe-job injury claims, the Company Nurse Injury Hotline. This training will explain the roles of employees and supervisors in getting timely and appropriate medical attention along with reducing the paperwork. It will introduce you to the Company Nurse Injury Hotline; explain when to call the injury hotline; how to correctly pay employees losing time from work; as well as how to assist employees with getting prescriptions filled due to their on-the-job injury.
