 United States Citizen
 17 Years old by September 1st of Freshman Year of

 Apply and Be accepted by an NROTC host School
 Receive minimum Scores:
 SAT- 530 Verbal & 520 Math
 ACT- 22 English & 21 Math

Physical Requirements
 Students do not need an physical to apply, but should
meet Navy’s basic physical requirements
 Upon receipt of scholarship, you will be directed to
take Department of Defense Medical Exam.
Military Service Obligations
 Commissioned as an Ensign upon graduation.
 Do Not go through Officer Candidate School (OCS).
 Five years of Active duty service for most programs.

 Apply to 5 NROTC host schools
 Schedule an Officer Interview
 Submit High School Transcript and Teacher Evaluation forms
 Math evaluation for Navy Option
 Science evaluation for Nurse Option
 Enter correct email addresses for evaluations and advise those
teachers in advance
