Christian Science nursing is a Church Manualbased² spiritual ministry providing loving care
to individuals relying on God for healing. Its
expansive services include care and support to those
requiring light assistance with daily needs. This
service offers affordable care based on the individual
assistance required.
Those receiving light assistance stay in private, well
appointed, light-filled rooms designed to support
healing and ease with daily activities. Patients also
experience a sense of community within the
Christian Science Nursing Building’s Light Assistance wing. Sunday church services and mid-week
testimony meetings are held in this confidential
community setting. In addition there are hymn
sings, films, discussion groups and other activities.
Daily and weekly services such as served meals in
the Light Assistance dining room, daily bed
making, and weekly housekeeping and laundry,

are provided in addition to assistance with getting

Light Assistance services are provided within the
healing refuge of the BA’s modern Christian
Science Nursing Building under the supervision
of a Christian Science nurse listed in the Journal.
This cheerful and ordered environment hosts a
full spectrum of daily activity and supports
individual study and prayerful work.
