Pre/work or bell ringer?
The students will read a scientific article and underline the main ideas as well as ask
questions that might relate to the content.
Daily Activities (include reading and writing activities):
- The teacher will lecture on ATP and photosynthesis
- The teacher will show a short video on photosynthesis.
- The students will complete a review sheet with the teacher on photosynthesis that
includes drawing the process of photosynthesis inside a chloroplast.
- The students will complete a sheet for a grade on photosynthesis and ATP
How will this lesson connect to the next day’s lesson?
Students will know how ATP is the energy produced from cellular respiration.
