Monthly Happenings
Be sure to be thankful for our freedom on July 4th. We
will be celebrating our nation’s independence, so hug a
military person and tell them that they are special.
Throughout history, men and women have been serving
others to protect their security. I wonder if any of us ever
take the time to realize what a fantastic job our troops are
doing for us. They are putting their selves at risk to
protect our freedoms. So I urge you to thank a soldier.
When you see a service member out and about, walk up to
them and thank them.
Reminders
Please don’t forget to bring your child’s sheet and blankets
back every Monday. We have limited extra blankets; we
appreciate your help with this matter. We also have many
children potty training and we are starting to run low on
extra clothes. If you could make sure that your child has an
extra set of clothes this would make it easier in case of an
accident. If you have shorts or underwear that do not fit
your child and are size 2t -5t we can use them.
Safety and Security
Please remember not to hold the door open for other
parents and guests to come into the building. I know this
can be a difficult habit to break as it seems impolite, but
this is for the safety of the children. Parents may use their
own code to enter the building or they can ring the bell for
assistance.
Summer Fun Song

God has called us build each other up and to be thankful.
So, take this time to show an outpouring of unselfish love
to another person and thank them. Lend a shoulder to a
parent with a child overseas; take the time to write a letter
to a soldier, but most of all pray. Prayer is an amazing gift
God has given to us. So pray for our troops and their
families. From my heart to yours—thank you to all the
service men and women working for our freedom.
