Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons will begin from Tuesday, 18 February, at Hibiscus Swimming Academy, Mt. Gravatt.
There will be an allocated time before the swimming for the children to get changed. Please see the
swimming dates below.
Year 2 lesson time is always 11.35am – 12.10pm with 15 minutes
of travel time before and after the lesson.

Please do not send your child to school wearing their swimsuits.
Please ensure that your child brings the following items clearly named in their College swimming bag:






Swimmers
Swim shirt (Rashie or old t-shirt)
Goggles
College Swimming cap
Towel
Thongs or slip on shoes
Please label every item of your child’s belongings (even socks, shoes and underwear) so it
is easier for us to identify the owners.
Our swimming instructor has also requested that your child’s name be written in large writing across the
forehead of the swimming cap. This helps all teachers and volunteers maintain water safety by identifying
children quickly.
