TECHNICAL DATA SHEET 29/06/2017 Radglo® RPC-X-1182 Provisional General information General description: Ultra-violet responsive fluorescent plastic colorants - free of formaldehyde - for plastics. A dyed/pigmented thermoplastic polyamide-ester copolymer. Applications: UV Green tracer recommended for extrusion, injection moulding, blowmoulding, filmblowing etc. Product features and benefits Radglo® RPC-X-1182 is colorless in normal daylight, but glows green under UV exposure, making it especially suitable as a tracer. Radglo® RPC-X-1182 offers the advantage of negligible, if any, sticking or mold plate-out, whereby both heat stability and light resistance are optimized. The maximum recommended processing temperature is 280°C. Compared to all other commercially available fluorescent plastic colorants, Radglo® RPC offers outstanding heat stability in injection molded plastics. Recommended for polyolefins (LDPE/HDPE/PP) and rubber. Other polymers should be tested.
