General information
General description:
 Ultra-violet responsive fluorescent plastic colorants - free of
formaldehyde - for plastics.
 A dyed/pigmented thermoplastic polyamide-ester copolymer.
Applications:
 UV Green tracer recommended for extrusion, injection moulding,
blowmoulding, filmblowing etc.
Product features and benefits
 Radglo® RPC-X-1182 is colorless in normal daylight, but glows
green under UV exposure, making it especially suitable as a tracer.
 Radglo® RPC-X-1182 offers the advantage of negligible, if any,
sticking or mold plate-out, whereby both heat stability and light
resistance are optimized. The maximum recommended processing
temperature is 280°C.
 Compared to all other commercially available fluorescent plastic
colorants, Radglo® RPC offers outstanding heat stability in
injection molded plastics.

It is essential the minimum processing
temperature of 175°C is reached in
order to melt in the polymer and evenly
distribute the pigment throughout the
plastic.
Recommended for polyolefins
(LDPE/HDPE/PP) and rubber. Other
polymers should be tested.
