PARTECIPATION:
Participation to the event is open to all F.C.I members with a membership card and have signed the
membership for 2017, in possession of a medical certificate, for competitive cycling. Foreign
participants must present an official UCI membership, for the current year, released by the respective
country, they must also have the ethical certificate (in English) along with a medical certificate, drawn
up according to model E.
Foreigners that do not possess an official UCI membership, must hand in, before the race, a medical
certificate that states that they are physically able to partake in an official, competitive, cycling event.
The certificate must not date more than a year prior to the date of registration to the event.
Participants must be between the ages (including) of 19 and 64.
For those who do not possess a 2017 F.C.I membership there is the possibility to acquire a day F.C.I.
membership card at a cost of 15 euros. This can be done at the race registry, for insurance purposes
the applicant must present a medical certificate for competitive sport and sign the ethical declaration.
The participant also gives consent to the treatment of his personal information with respect to the law
n°675 from 31/12/96.
The TEAM TIME TRIAL is organized following to the structure and norms of Amateur F.C.I. events,
which means that the participation of professionals, élites and U23 is only allowed for purely
promotional means, without the possibility of being considered in the ranking.
For promotional means it is also possible to participate with fixed gear bicycles, however these teams
will not be taken into account for the official ranking and will start behind the rest of the participants.
With the signing and sending of the registration form all participants, along with their respective
teams, declare that they do not bear any ongoing sport sanctions, civil and/or penile investigations
with regards to doping, and declare that they are not taking – or have taken – any substances listed by
the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) (https://www.wada-ama.org/en/resources/sciencemedicine/prohibited-list ).

The Team Time Trial is an invite only race. The organizers have the right to not accept registrations
that are incomplete and/or incorrect. Single registrations are accepted, they will then be inserted into
a team by the organization
TEAM COMPOSITION:
The teams can be: all male, all female or mixed. Every team must be made up of a minimum of 4
members and a maximum of 8. The team’s time will be taken at the arrival of its fourth member.
Teams can also be made up of athletes from different teams. In this case it is necessary to declare a
name for the team and identify someone as head of the team. To be inserted in the “mixed team”
ranking, out of the first four components that cross the finish line 2 must be female.
STARTING TIME:
The first team will set of at 7.00 (depending on the number of teams present), the next teams will
follow at 1 minute intervals.
REGISTRATION:
Only Online, with credit card, on the ww.sdam.it website.
Registrations must be submitted by the 22/05/2017. Any submitted later will not be accepted.
The terms of registration, indicated below, are valid unless the registration arrives after the given date
or the maximum number of registrations, to ensure the safety of the participants, is reached.
In the event of this number of registrations being reached a waiting list will be made for any
cancellations made before the 22/05/2017. Being on the waiting list does not, in any way, give
certainty of participation in the event.
TEAM REGISTRATION – PHASE 1:
From April 6th 2017 it will be possible to submit team registrations.
To complete the registration it is necessary to:

2. Make the online registration fee payment.
TEAM REGISTRATION – PHASE 2:
All info of team components (including number of 2017 membership card) must be submitted by and
not after the 22/05/2017.
The organizational committee will send, to the email address indicated in phase 1, a link to the Team’s
dedicated page, where, through an online form, the team members can submit all their relevant info
and accept the terms, regarding safety and privacy.
Teams that do not fully fill the online form with all required information, by the deadline (22/05/2017),
will be removed from the list of participants, without any refund of the registration fee.
There will be no registrations the day of the event.
MEMEBERSHIP CARD VERIFICATION:
To collect their race kit and number all participants must have with them have with them their
Membership card along with an identity document.
Teams may have one member show up to collect all kits and numbers as long as he has a list of all the
team members along with their original membership cards.
REGISTRATION FEE:
The registration fee is 250,00 Euro, per team.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Every team has the possibility to make 2 substitutions to their team members. The substitutions can be
made directly at the bib collection on Saturday 27/05/2017.
Substitutions made by fax or email will not be accepted
Substitutions will not be accepted and made the day of the race

TEAM WITHDRAWAL:
Team that have completed their registration and for some reason have to then withdraw will not be
refunded of their registration fee.
The registration can be passed on to another team by simply communicating it to the registration
office.
TIMING:
Timing control points will be placed at the start, end and along the race course.
Inside the race kit, with the race numbers there will also be day chips (only for the team trial). There
will be a € 50,00 deposit fee, per team, that will be fully refunded once the chips are delivered to the
“Punto Chip” at the Autodromo di Monza, at the end of the race.
The organizing committee declines any responsibility for any chips that are not returned and will then
not be obliged to refund the money deposited. Chips that are not returned in will be deactivated and
cannot be used for any other race after the event.
EVENT CANCELLATION:
If, in the event of circumstances beyond the organizing committee’s control, the manifestation is
cancelled the registration fee will not be refunded to the teams.
RACE KIT AND BIB COLLECTION:
Bibs will be given out by the race starting point in Monza from 15.00 to 20.00 on Saturday 27 and from
05.45 to 06.45 on Sunday 28.
Participants must have their membership cards with them.
Bibs for the whole team can be collected by one member, if he presents the membership cards of all
other members.
Without membership cards bibs cannot be collected.
THE USE OF A TYPE-APRROVED HELMET IS OBBLIGATORY (road or time trial).

MEDICAL AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
An adequate number, for the number of participants, of Medical and technical assistance units will be
present, both fixed and mobile. Private medical assistance vehicles are not permitted, if non
authorized vehicles are present on the race course the entire team in question will be disqualified. In
the event of an accident or medical emergency call 118.
PARTICIPANTS:
All participants must arrive at the start area at least 10 minutes before the start of the race, and follow
the race organizers instructions to line up on the starting line.
The road will be completely closed to traffic, therefore every team will be authorized to pass on the
starting line for an hour after the start of the race.
Training on the race course is absolutely forbidden after the first team has set off (at 7.00).
Teams that are found on the course after said time will be penalized and in the event of an accident
will be reported in accordance with the law.
Riders that are not registered to race but enter the race course anyway, do so at their own risk and in
the event of an accident will be reported to the authorities.
Teams that arrive late to the meeting point for the start will not be admitted to the race.
For participant to be in the official ranking, he must be in possession of a Championchip Chip (that is
delivered with the race kit).
Race timing will begin after the 3° rider sets off.
Participants must rigorously keep to the right and respect all laws of the road.
It is forbidden for teams to use another teams slipstream. An overtake must be done on the other side
of the road, as far away as possible from the other team.
The final time for a team will be taken when the fourth member of the team crosses the matt placed
on the finish line. The time will only be validated if the fourth rider crosses less than a minute after
the first.
It is forbidden for a rider – who withdrew from the race – to aid his team by reentering, the whole
team will be disqualified in the event of this happening.
The ranking will only include teams that crossed the electronic control points along the course with at
least 4 members. The athletes must quickly vacate the finish line area, following the organization’s
instructions.

For health and safety precautions within the race course, vehicles are not allowed to follow the race.
CATEGORIES:
The category ranking will be divided in age groups that are derived by the sum of the ages of all
members of a team (based on year of birth):
Group A from 156 years for 4 members, 195 years for 5 members, 234 years for 6 members, 273 years
for 7 members and 312 years for 8 athletes.
Group B from 157 to 216 years for 4 members, from 196 to 270 years for 5 members, from 235 to 324
for 6 members, from 274 to 378 years for 7 members and from 313 to 332 for 8 members.
Group C over 216 years 4 members, over 270 years for 5 members, over 325 years for 6 members,
over 379 for 7 members and over 433 years for 8 athletes.
AWARDS:
The Teams that will be awarded are:
First 3 overall
First 3 of Group C
First 3 of Group B
First 3 of Group A
First 3 mixed teams (at least 2 women in the first 5 that cross the finish line.
First 3 female teams
The award ceremony will be straight after the end of the race..
Awards that are not collected will not be delivered, unless delivery costs are paid by the team.
