A revolution for the industry: PERFORMANCECOLORS by Nora
Kühner
April 20-21st marked the birth of PERFORMANCECOLORS by Nora Kühner, the color
card specialized on sports- and outdoor collections two years in advance! With the
forecast for spring/summer 2018, PERFORMANCE DAYS created a great new tool
together with the designer Nora Kühner and DyStar/CSI, at a price for 100€ only.
Another color card? NO! PERFORMANCECOLORS by Nora Kühner promises to be a revolution in
the sports- and outdoor industry. In cooperation with DyStar/CSI, the printed color swatches are
matched with the correct dying recipe - so no more guessing on a trial-and-error basis when
talking about color with the business partners. Additionally, PERFORMANCECOLORS is the first
color card that provides a fastness guide for Polyester, Cotton and Polyamide 6! Also provided by
DyStar/CSI, the fastness guide supports both designers and product managers in the decision
making process for their collection’s KickOff at the beginning of the season and throughout
production.
But PERFORMANCE DAYS takes service one step further again: to improve the workflow between
the exhibitors and visitors of PERFORMANCE DAYS, the fair organisation distributes one copy of
the color card for free to each exhibitor – from now on producer and customer talk the same
color language and know exactly what the other party wants.
Behind PERFORMANCECOLORS by Nora Kühner stands a team of international designers with
Nora Kühner herself on top. The internationally well-known designer and liked project partner of
PERFORMANCE DAYS creates the forecast with her team, and designs the e-magazine that
corresponds to the color card itself. The e-magazine is sent to all buyers of the color card via EMail a couple of weeks after the fair ended, complementing the printed swatches with the color
moods and inspirational themes.
As usual, Nora Kühner presents her color forecast during PERFORMANCE DAYS as one of the free
fair presentations. All presentations are available as audio-files for an easy follow-up and are

About Performance Days
PERFORMANCE DAYS – The “functional fabric fair” launched in 2008, is the first and only event
created especially for functional fabrics for sports and work clothing. The aim of the semiannual trade fair is to give leading and innovative textile manufacturers, suppliers and service
providers the opportunity to present their functional fabrics, membranes plus treatments,
laminates, paddings, finishes, and accessories such as yarns, tapes, prints, buttons and zippers.
The industry experts who come to this fair – the sports fashion designers, product managers, and
decision-makers (see online: Visitor List) represent almost every European active clothing and
functional wear manufacturer – can find a complete selection of high quality materials available
at just the right time in April/May and November. The dates are intentionally scheduled early
thanks to our expertise in functional fabrics and are optimal for summer and winter sport

The relaxed and focused workshop-like atmosphere at PERFORMANCE DAYS differentiates it from
the other fairs which are often unmanageable and more stressful. That is one of the reasons why
