Aim of the experiment To understand that plants not only reproduce through seeds but
also grow from pieces of stem.
Materials needed A pot,soil and a potato
Method Take a potato. Cut a piece from it. The piece must have an ‘eye’. Plant this piece
in the soil. Water it regularly and watch the plant grow for a week.
