Family & Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region works to keep children and youth safe in our community by providing services,
therapeutic help and meaningful supports.
Through the generous gifts and support from donors throughout the Region of Waterloo, the Foundation financially supports needed
programs and services not covered by government funded programming to help children and their families heal, learn, and grow.
By participating in our signature events such as the CHYM Tree of Hope, you are supporting the work of the Family & Children’s Services
Foundation to provide parents with the help and opportunities they need to create a better life for their families and give the most

Help survivors of childhood sexual abuse receive the specialized
counseling necessary to help them move beyond the trauma towards healthy,
positive futures.
Emerald Family Member – $2,500
Ensure that children in care or living with their families in the community
have access to reading/tutoring programs and materials to help improve
their opportunity for success in school.
Amethyst Family Member – $1,000
For one special day, CHYM 96.7 devotes 13 hours of programming to support Family & Children’s Services.
This is your unique opportunity to partner with the CHYM Tree of Hope Radiothon! The day kicks off
with the powerhouse morning team of Adele, Tara and Cash broadcasting live from CF Fairview Park
mall and wraps-up with afternoon personality, Sandra. It’s a day of sharing inspiring stories about
how children and youth from our community have benefited from community support of
Family & Children’s Services – not just during the holiday season but all year round.
Pledges can be made in person or by phone to the CHYM Tree of Hope hotline. Every individual,
service group or company donation goes a long way to ensure miracles happen right here in
our community.

CHYM 96.7 has a unique sponsorship opportunity called, “Points For Hope.” Your business is able to partner
with CHYM 96.7 and Family & Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region to convert virtual online points
