Home-School Agreement 2016/2017

The school and governors
Present the teachings of Jesus as a model for Christian
life in society.
Provide a broad and balanced curriculum which
enables pupils to achieve their best and develop a love
of learning.
Demand good behaviour at all times whilst explaining
that all actions have consequences.
Work in partnership with parents and carers.
Provide opportunities for parents/carers to discuss
their child’s progress and inform parents/carers of
their child’s progress at formal meetings and with
written reports.
Provide opportunities for parents/carers to be
involved in the life of the school.
Provide your child with a high standard of education
within a broad and balanced curriculum.
Ensure that our learning environment is stimulating
and challenging.
Celebrate your child’s academic and personal
achievements.
Provide the scaffolding needed to enable your child to
achieve their full potential.

Parents/Carers









Show an interest in your child’s life at school
Ensure your child attends school regularly,
arrives at school on time for an 8.55 am start
and is collected promptly at dismissal time.
Ensure your child wears the full and correct
school uniform.
Alert the school promptly about any
concerns or problems that may affect
his/her behaviour
Support the school’s policy for promoting
good behaviour
Attend events organised by the school (eg :
curriculum evenings) in order to further your
knowledge and understanding of your child’s
education
Ensure that your child is equipped
adequately for school (eg : PE kit, etc).
Respond to requests from school for
information required within the designated
timescale
Where possible, avoid taking your child on
holiday in term time.
Pupils
 Respect other children’s culture,
race, age, gender, ability, feelings,
beliefs and values.
 Accept responsibility for the things
that I do.
 Be responsible for my school and
homework.
 Ask for help if I need it and try my
best in all that do.
 Ensure that I take home all school
letters.
 Be kind and speak politely to
everyone in school.
 Take good care of the building,
equipment and school grounds.

 Tell a member of staff if I am
worried or unhappy.
