The courses found in this library were chosen by the Arkansas Department of Education to meet
the equivalent of three (3) college credit hours in Arkansas History.
In order to earn credit for a 45-hour professional development piece in Arkansas History through
ArkansasIDEAS, you must complete every course within the Arkansas History Library on the
Non-Licensed portal.
Obtaining a Certificate of Completion:
Once you have completed the entire Arkansas History Library on the Non-Licensed portal, please
send an email to [email protected] that includes the information below:

ArkansasIDEAS Username
Phone Number
Mailing Address
Monitored Email Address
ArkansasIDEAS will verify that you have satisfactorily completed every component of the
Arkansas History Library (including all courses, videos, quizzes, and surveys). We will then
evaluate the number of attempts AND the time spent in each course. ArkansasIDEAS will also
verify that every assessment within those courses has been passed with an 80% or higher score.
If ArkansasIDEAS finds the time spent in each course unsatisfactory, your progress in that
course may be reset.
Upon verification, an Arkansas History certificate of completion will be mailed to you. You will
then submit your certificate, an application, and verification of Praxis scores (if applicable) to the
