Course.

This Course will introduce a huge range of fine furniture making techniques. Fine Cabinet work is
regarded as the pinnacle of craftsmanship as with cabinets you are dealing with working parts like
doors and drawers.
You will be shown the best methods for making precision carcasses that allow for piston fit
drawers and doors hung to a fine tolerance.
The carcass, doors and drawer will all be constructed and fitted so that they remain fully functional
throughout the year.
This cabinet will feature a carcass, two doors of a frame and panel construction and one piston
fitted drawer. The back of the cabinet will be a frame and panel construction similar to the doors.
You will also make your own door and drawer handles.
