RED CURBS designate fire lanes. Fire lanes are tow-away
zones and must be kept clear at all times.
- Accessible Parking:
Accessible parking spaces are provided and are
designated by a sign showing the symbol of accessibility.
Van-accessible spaces are also available.
Speed Limit:
The speed limit at the LVCC is 15 mph unless otherwise
posted, with 5 mph in effect in the lots.
Lost Your Vehicle?
It’s easy to do with more than 5,500 parking spaces.
Come to the Security Dispatch Office located on our main
concourse by the C Halls. The office is open 24 hours and
we will be happy to help you locate your vehicle.
Rules and regulations are enforced by the Security
Department 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Vehicles must be operated and parked in a
manner that assures the safety of other drivers and
pedestrians. Parking is permitted in marked spaces
only. The entire vehicle must be within the boundary
lines of the parking space. Weather conditions
are not valid reasons for violation of regulations.
Revocation of parking privileges may be made by the
Security Department for failure to comply with these
regulations. In the event of mechanical failure of a
vehicle, the owner/driver is responsible for its removal
as soon as available services permit. Lots may not be
used to store a vehicle.
Abandoned Vehicles:
OVERNIGHT PARKING IS NOT PERMITTED. Abandoned
vehicles may be towed and/or impounded at the owner’s
expense.
Towing & Impoundment of Vehicles:
This may occur when a vehicle is:
•
Blocking a fire lane or hydrant
•
Blocking a roadway, drive or loading dock
•
Creating a potential safety hazard
•
Parking in violation of posted signs
•
Blocking other vehicles
•
Using an expired or altered parking pass
