 Part A is common for All Subjects.
 15 questions to be attempted out of 20.
 There is negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
 Total Marks are - 30.
 MCQ - Questions are asked in Part A.
 Part A is to measure basics of General Science, Quantitative Reasoning & Analysis and Research Aptitu
CSIR NET Life Science Part B
 35 questions to be attempted out of 50.
 There is negative marking of 0.75 marks for each wrong answer.
 Part B includes Subject-Related Conventional MCQs with less difficulty level.
 MCQ - Questions are asked in Part B.
 Total Marks are – 70.
CSIR NET Life Science Part C
 25 questions to be attempted out of 75.
 Total Marks are - 100.
 There no negative marking for any wrong answer in Part C.
 The questions are asked Multiple Select Questions (MSQ).
 In this part questions are asked with Higher Value Subject related Questions that tests the
candidate’s scientific knowledge.
