FAMILIES AND FELLOWSHIP
Taste of Summit: Everyone is invited today, June 4th @ 11 a.m. to a sneak peek at the upcoming event August 10-11 and to get
a taste of just what you could experience. The event will be held in the sanctuary and run about an hour. We will conclude with
a potluck lunch. This event is for our church, we will hold additional events for those in the community: June 14 @ 6:30 p.m.
for churches and June 16 @ 7 a.m. for businesses. If you would like to invite a business to this event there are invites available
on the table with all the summit info.
New Church Photo Directory. Dates: July 20-22. Our previous photo directory was published in 2011.
New folks have come, kids have grown, babies born. Addresses and phone numbers have changed. It is time
for an update! Sign up for a day/time for your family photo. The greater the participation, the more helpful
the directory will be for us all.
Prayer Shawl Group meets Tuesdays, 1 p.m. in Friendship House. Come when you can.
Save the date: Friday, June 16, 6-8 p.m. for our annual Block Party! An opportunity to get to know our neighbors in the
community. Pastor Nick is seeking candy donations for prizes. Let him know if you can help.
Prayer Walk Thursday, June 15 @ 6:00 p.m., we will walk our neighborhood in advance of the block party. We will pray for
our neighbors and pass out invites to the block party. You don’t have to be willing to pray out loud or with others to participate.
You Just need to be willing to knock on doors and pass out invites. Children are welcome to join as well.
YOUTH
Sr. High/SOS: Wednesday, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Last meeting until fall.
Need Spring Cleaning help? A sr. high freshman wants to earn money for the summer mission trip; on weekends she can clean,
do yard work and babysit. Questions? Talk to Pastor Nick.
