Stevenson, in partnership with RRR Recycling
Services Hawaii, will be hosting a recycling event
every first Saturday of the month from 10-3 on
school campus.
RRR will accept eligible HI-5 containers including
aluminum cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles and bimetal containers and reimburse customers based
on State established rates. In addition RRR will
accept NON-deposit aluminum containers (cat food
cans, spam cans, clean foil trays), NON-deposit
plastics (#1 & 2) PET, HDPE, Bi-Metal, and Glass as
well as cardboard (which has been flattened and
bundled), and newspaper, with no payment to
customers.
TECHNOLOGY
Through the use of social media and internet technologies the Humanitarian
Sustainability Initiative invokes a multidisciplinary knowledge base through
on line journals and operational guides; through webinars in all areas for
building stable and sustainable communities
