Transfer Paper
Instructions
This special paper allows you to transfer your image onto black or any other coloured textile, using an inkjet printer.
PRINTING:
Print your image in positive mode onto the Inkjet receptive side (the surface not pre-printed with red squares).
Printer Driver settings: Use Transfer Paper Mode if it is available or Normal Paper mode using best print quality. If the
image has bleeding colours/text, reduce the amount of ink by increasing brightness by about 10 percent.
We recommend you allow the print to dry for about 30 minutes before pressing onto the garment.
Using a Heat Press
Using an Iron
1. Set the heat press to 160°C, medium
pressure and an application time of 20
seconds.
1. Place a smooth cloth, for example 2-3 tea towels or a folded
pillowcase, between the T-shirt and a solid surface. Using an ironing
board is not recommended. (Image B)
2. Place the garment on the heat press and
press before applying the transfer to remove
any creases. (Image A)
2. Cut out the image with a 5mm margin. (Image C)
3. Cut out the image with a 5mm margin.

4. Peel the printed image off the paper and
place image side face up onto the garment.

5. Place the enclosed protection paper over
the image and press using the above settings.

3. Peel the printed image off the paper and place image side face up
onto the garment (which must be crease free and pre-ironed).

4. Now place the enclosed protection paper onto the image. (Image E)
5. Iron the image (using the highest heat setting and DO NOT use
steam) together with the protective paper by using consistent
pressure, distributing the heat evenly. Concentrate on using the centre
of the iron and all the edges of the image. Apply heat for 30 seconds
(half page images) and 35-40 seconds for larger sizes. (Image G)
While still warm (after approx. 10 seconds) peel off the protective paper from one corner using firm and steady tension.
(Image H) To transfer more than one image onto both sides of a fabric, first apply all images onto the T-shirt but do not
remove the protective papers until all images have cooled.

AFTERCARE:
Max. wash 40°C, turning the garment inside out. Do not use wash powders containing bleach. Do not use a tumble-dryer.
Ironing after washing: Iron the reverse of the image.
