One Team Camp Summer Weightlifting
What: Comprehensive 4 day a week full body workout that focuses on building strength while
working on flexibility and functional mobility.
Purpose: To build a foundation of proper technique that will increase overall strength, prepare
athletes to perform weight lifting exercises SAFELY, and to help athletes stay healthy
throughout their season.
Who: Any Harlem student entering 8-12th grade in Fall 2017
When: June 5th to July 28th-Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fridays-1 hour each day
Where: Harlem weight room
Cost: $80 for 8 weeks of instruction includes FMS screening and T-Shirt

Camp includes: Functional Movement Screening (FMS) Pre and Post Test
*Pre Testing will be done May 24th (11:45 am - 2:30 pm) and May 25th (8:00 am – 1:00 pm)
 Comprehensive Pre participation screen
 Consists of seven test/movement and three screening tools
 This Screen reflects a combination of muscle strength coordination, balance and
proprioception
 Also included is an ACL 3P Program screen 1. Prevention 2. Progression 3. Performance
**These tests will be run by Certified Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist from Athletico
