Summer Assignment
We have a great amount of material to cover this year. There will be a test over the first
5 chapters of your textbook, AP Edition Campbell Biology 10th Edition, by Campbell and
Reece, Pearson/Benjamin Cummings publishers ISBN 13:978-0321775658 (2014).
To prepare for this test you will need to read the first 5 chapters. Chapter 1 is an
overview of an approach to the study of Biology. Chapters 2 through 5 cover the
chemistry of life.
For each chapter there is a self-quiz in your textbook. You need to answer these
questions for each of the 5 chapters. These should be typed with complete sentences.
Your name should be on the top right hand corner of each page and the chapter the
questions pertain to.
Also for each chapter there are questions in your Study Guide For Biology 10th Edition,
Campbell and Reece, Pearson/Benjamin Cummings publishers, ISBN 13: 9780321833921 (2014) titled “Test Your Knowledge”. These are to be answered. You can
answer in the books and turn them in or you can type out the questions and answers.
All of the questions are due the first day of class. The test will be the third day of class.
