Description/Purpose of Position
Foundation Coordinator performs liaison duties associated with the ongoing support and maintenance of all Foundation
applications including: Patient Admitting & Registration, Patient Accounting, Medical Records and all charge generating
departments at all facilities in the system. Responsible for completing reports, audits, logs and resolving system errors daily.
Communicate with managers training/education needed as a result of errors. Responsible for pricing and activating all
patient charges at the facility level including the room and bed master. This position works with the CBO staff to assure all
Foundation needs are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
Business Degree preferred or applicable experience
Demonstrated ability to relate well to others in a variety of
functional areas, handle multiple responsibilities
simultaneously and to problem-solve and think both
creatively and analytically
Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD10 & MS-DRG coding
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent communication skills
In-depth knowledge of hospital billing and reimbursement
Strong organization skills including the ability to prioritize
needs effectively
