Congratulations on your Internship with the Moroch Family of Companies. We are looking
forward to the upcoming semester. Please carefully read the following document. It details all
of the paperwork you need to complete prior to your first day and will answer many of your
questions regarding your first day at the office.

INTERNSHIP WORK SCHEDULE
DO THIS ASAP! Contact your Supervisor to finalize your weekly schedule and establish a time for you to arrive on
your start date. Your start date was listed in the offer letter you signed to accept the Internship. If you do not
know who your Supervisor will be or do not have their contact information, please reach out to your company’s
Internship Program Director:

INTERNSHIP PAPERWORK CHECKLIST
Prior to your first day, return all Payroll and HR items to Jacklyn DiBernardo, Human Resources Generalist at

PAYROLL ITEMS
1. Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) – Go to this link to complete section 1. This must be
complete (and I-9 documentation received) by the 3rd day of employment to be in compliance with

2. Form W-4 - Complete for federal tax withholding purposes. (Deductions and Adjustments Worksheet not
required).
3. Direct Deposit Authorization Form - Direct Deposit is required for Payroll. Please attach a copy of a
voided check or bank specification letter to the form. You also have the option of electing direct deposit
for your Expense Reports and Flexible Spending Account reimbursements.

GENERAL & FIRST DAY INFORMATION
BUSINESS HOURS: The Moroch Family of Companies is open M-F 8:30am – 5:30pm CST. You should report
promptly each day you are scheduled. Notify your Supervisor if you are late or unable to come in. Repeated
absences or late arrival will result in termination of the Internship.
DRESS CODE: Generally, business-casual unless told differently by your Supervisor.
MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT FOR BUSINESS RELATED TRIPS: You may receive reimbursement for mileage incurred
for requested client-billable or management approved agency business related trips only. Mileage to/from your
home to the Moroch Family of Companies for your internship is considered commuting by the IRS and is not
reimbursable. Ask your Intern Supervisor for assistance with special mileage reimbursement.
QUESTIONS: Contact your Supervisor directly or, in their absence, email questions to your company’s Internship
Program Director (listed above under ‘Work Schedule’).
CLASS CREDIT
If you are wanting to receive class credit in conjunction with your Internship at the Moroch Family of Companies,
please discuss your University’s requirements with your Supervisor. You will need to provide any required
paperwork (with adequate lead time!) to your Supervisor to complete on your behalf. You are responsible for
following up with your Supervisor and ensuring that any requirements to receive credit are met and in the time
that they are required.
DALLAS OFFICE INTERNS AT PARK CREEK PLACE
(ALL DALLAS INTERNS EXCEPT SLY FOX AND SIDE CHOPS)
FIRST DAY: Report to the 11th floor and let the Receptionist know you are here for the first day of your Internship
and your Supervisor’s name. The Receptionist will call your Supervisor to greet you on the 11th floor. Your
Supervisor will give you a tour of the office, set you up in your work space, review your specific Internship’s goals
and responsibilities, and begin your training.
PARKING: Park in the West Lot at all times unless you are told otherwise. This includes the first day. Map is
provided inside the ‘Dallas Parking Form’ document. There are no exceptions. Parking in visitors at Park Creek
Place will result in your car being booted until a $75 fine is paid to building management.
BUILDING ACCESS: You will be assigned an access card. If your access card is not ready upon your arrival, you will
receive a temporary access card from the Receptionist that must be returned at the end of each day until you
receive your assigned access card. On the last day of your Internship, your assigned access card must be returned
to Reception or your Supervisor before you leave along with any other Moroch Family of Companies or Park Creek
Place property.
DAILY: You must sign in at the Receptionist desk upon your arrival each day until your Internship ends. This is to
alert Reception that you reported for your scheduled Internship time in case your emergency contact is trying to
reach you.
DALLAS OFFICE INTERNS AT HAMPTON COURT
(DALLAS INTERNS AT SLY FOX AND SIDE CHOPS ONLY)
FIRST DAY: Report to the 5th floor and look for the doors with the Sly Fox and Side Chops logos. Head right on in
and find the nearest friendly face to let them know you are there for the first day of your Internship, they will help
you find your Supervisor. Your Supervisor will give you a tour of the office, set you up in your work space, review
your specific Internship’s goals and responsibilities, and begin your training.
PARKING: On your first day, park in Visitor Parking at Hampton Court. After your first day, you will park in Tenant
Parking.
BUILDING ACCESS: You may be assigned an access card to be used for parking and after hours. Your Supervisor
will let you know if this is something that you will need. On your last day, if you were assigned an access card, it
must be returned to your Supervisor before you leave along with any other Moroch Family of Companies or
Hampton Court property.
ALL FIELD OFFICE INTERNS
FIRST DAY: Each of our Field offices are a little different. Please contact your Supervisor prior to your first day for
information on parking and where to meet them. Once you arrive, your Supervisor will give you a tour of the
office, set you up in your work space, review your specific Internship’s goals and responsibilities, and begin your
training.
PARKING: Please discuss with your Supervisor. They will provide any forms (if needed) and let you know where to
park on your first day and on an ongoing basis.
BUILDING ACCESS: Please discuss with your Supervisor. They will provide any forms (if needed) for building access
and let you know how to access the building during or after hours.
INTERNSHIP TIPS FOR SUCCESS






Be prompt, polite, pro-active and communicative; we’re in the communications business and it’s all about
developing and maintaining relationships
“Dress to Impress” – at least business casual; you are always making an impression
At all times, carry pen & paper to take notes; make sure you have your Supervisor’s contact information as
well
Ask specific questions if you don’t understand something
Be curious and network with other agency employees, go to intern meet-ups and other presentations to
make valuable contacts in other departments and teams for future opportunities
Ask for specific constructive feedback on your performance and be gracious in receiving it; even if you
disagree
