Purpose
This hotfix was released to resolve issues with Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, and to add
support for Microsoft Windows 10 RS2 (Creators Update) to several other issues.

Microsoft Windows 10 RS 2 support
This McAfee DLP Endpoint client release supports Microsoft Windows 10 RS 2 (Creators Update) 32-bit
and 64-bit PC operating systems.

Resolved issues
The current release of the product resolved these issues. For a list of issues fixed in earlier releases,
see the Release Notes for the specific release.
Reference Issue description

The issue with Microsoft Internet Explorer has been resolved. Internet Explorer no
longer hangs when McAfee DLP Endpoint client is installed.
Issues with Google Chrome 58.0.3029.81 have been resolved. Chrome no longer hangs
when McAfee DLP Endpoint client is installed.

The latest API changes in IE 11.0 protected mode are now supported.

Forwarding emails or cancelling calendar events in Microsoft Outlook on a system where
McAfee DLP Endpoint is installed now proceeds normally. Outlook does not crash.

Initial log on after installing McAfee DLP Endpoint now proceeds normally. Windows
Explorer does not crash.

If you install Microsoft Office 365 on a system where McAfee DLP Endpoint is currently
installed, the Office 365 installer now runs without hanging.
Installation instructions
The McAfee DLP extension is installed in McAfee ePO.
The recommended installation of the client software uses the McAfee ePO infrastructure for
deployment to the endpoint computers.
You can also deploy McAfee DLP Endpoint client software to your network using third-party enterprise
software deployment tools.

Known issues
Microsoft Edge 40.15063.0.0 for RS2 is not supported. See KB89089 for instructions on disabling
Microsoft Edge.
