Invitation for Bids

1. District Development Committee (DDC), Kathmandu has received fund from Government of Nepal towards the Constitution Area Infrastructure
Special Program (CAISP)/Local Road Bridge and community Access Program and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments
under the Contract as mentioned below.
2. DDC, Kathmandu is the implementing agency and invites sealed bids or electronic bids from all eligible bidders for construction of projects as
mentioned below under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures. Eligible bidders meeting eligibility criteria may participate in the bidding
process.
3. Interested Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at Office of the District Development Committee, Kathmandu, or
may visit PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np.
4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office: DDC, Kathmandu by the eligible Bidders on the submission of a written
application, Tax clearance certificate, VAT registration certificate, along with renewed copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of NRs 3,000.00 (Three thousand) till 17.00, on 2073/11/18. If so requested, the bidding documents can also
be sent by post/courier services upon payment of additional cost of NRs.1, 000.00 (One thousand). However, the Employer will not be
responsible for delay or non-delivery of the documents so sent.

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid s electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may down load
the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s Web Site www.bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the
cost (as specified above) of bidding document in the DDC Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format)
of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. Information to deposit the cost of

5. If the Bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Account No: Dharouti 1204701001.030.524, Nepal Rastra Bank, Thapathali, Kathmandu and submit the original voucher along with the bid.
6. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at DDC, Kathmandu at 13.00 hrs on 2073/11/08
7. Sealed bids must be submitted to the DDC, Kathmandu, by hand/courier or through PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np on or before 12.00 on
2073/11/19. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
8. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 13.00 on 2073/11/19 DTO, Kathmandu. Bids must
be valid for a period of 90 (ninety) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security as mentioned below or scanned copy of the
bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid, which shall be remain valid for minimum 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
9. The Bidder must quote unit rates in figure and words for all items of the works described in the Bill of Quantities and shall enter corresponding
Amount for each item. Bidder must produce total Bid price and enter in the BOQ as well as in Letter of bid.
10. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever. Any intimidation,
collusion and cartelling during bidding process shall be punishable by law.
