Understanding the concept of a habitat, how it provides
organisms found there with conditions for life and how
animals depend on plants or other animals for food. This
also includes a focus on which organisms are suited to
which habitat.
Woodland habitat focus (food chains, adaptation) – to
link with literacy ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’
Individual research on a habitat of interest.
A.T.1 Skills – The preferred habitat of woodlice.
