S/F UPDATED JUNE 2015 NEWS LETTER
Dear Parents/Carers,
There been an increase in swimming as we found out yesterday when we went, they have increased
the charge to £2.05 per swim now if the children do not have their swimming cards. I guess money
must be tight everywhere if they can’t let a few kids swim for free once a week.
The children will be coming out by 5.30pm so if you wish to collect your child from the pool please
ensure you sign out them out on sight first, and pick up any remainder bags, or personal items.
The children will be back on site for 6pm as they will walk back unless it raining, otherwise a
minibus will be collecting them only if it rains.
ALBANY PARK TRIP MONDAY 29/06/2015
We would also like to take the children to the park on Monday for a bit of a sports day cold drinks and
refreshments will be given additional to the snacks on site. I.e. Ice lolly’s frozen fruit to keep them
cool. As the weather is going to be really hot if you wish to collect your child/ren early or do not
wish them to go please inform one of the staff or send Darlene a text on 07732385075, we will leave
straight after snack time. About 3.45pm and will not return till 5.45pm. Once again if you wish to
collect them from the park please make sure you come on site first to sign them out with Michael and
collect any additional personal items that may have been left
Seeking New Parent Members for our Management committee team.
We are looking to recruit new member for our management committee team, we want to become
more structured and keep parents involved in running our very much needed community out of school
clubs. If you are interested in becoming a treasurer or part of our team please come to our opening
night at 5.30am on Friday 10th July 2015. The children will host you and tempt you with some light
refreshments, we would like to become charity registered and need help with doing paper work and
fund raising to help cut the cost of children’s much desired trips and activities so if anyone is
interested in joining please come along, we would love to see you there! We will send out another
new letter next week to give more details on what’s need and required for the position.
We would like to thank you for your continues support and please as normal if there is anything we
need to improve on or you would like to see happen at your club please do not hesitate to let us know
you know we love yours and the children input as it keeps us on our toes. Enjoy your weekend as I
