ICE HOCKEY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2014 IN MINSK
At the International conference of Ice Hockey Federation in 2009 in Bern
(Switzerland) Minsk (Belarus) was elected a venue of the 78th Ice Hockey World
Championship 2014. Under a decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus
there is a visa-free entry for foreigners during the championship since April 25
2014 till May 31, 2014. In addition to this, compulsory medical insurance is
abolished for this period in order to facilitate entry to the Republic of Belarus.
In February 2012 CENTREKURORT was declared the official tour
operator of Ice Hockey World Championship 2014 in Minsk due to a tender’s
results. Today CENTREKURORT has an exclusive right to form tour packages.
Matches of the championship will be held at two largest multifunctional
complexes “Minsk-arena” (15 000 places) and “Chyzhovka-arena” (10 000
places).
Our company has booked 20 000 places of dwelling in Minsk hotels and
hostels for fans and guests of the championship.
In order to attract more fans and tourists to Minsk during the championship
Ice Hockey World Championship 2014 Directorate, Municipal Executive
Committee of Minsk and Republican Unitary Enterprise «CENTREKURORT»
suggested hotels, hostels and other objects which provide dwelling to sign a
memorandum, which controls tariffs of Minsk hotels during Ice Hockey World
Championship 2014 in Minsk.
For the same purpose responsible authorities decided to create a Fan-village,
which will function during the championship. Fan-village represents a complex of
7 dormitories which offer guests comfortable accommodation. Apartments in the
Fan-village consist of 2 rooms (maximum capacity - 5 people), WC, a bathroom, a
kitchen with a refrigerator and a cooker. During the championship there will be
available a Fan-zone and a covered skating rink with 2 ice grounds.
Specialists of CENTREKURORT have developed special tour packages that
include basic and additional services:
1) VIP-package includes the following basic services:
- tickets to matches;
- accommodation in 4-5* hotels;
- individual transfer airport (railway station) – hotel – airport (railway
station);
- individual transfer to arenas;
- souvenir of Ice Hockey World Championship 2014;
- visiting of VIP hospitality area.
Additional services: sightseeing tours, rent of conference halls.
2) Fan-package includes the following services:
- tickets to the matches;
- accommodation in hotels or Fan-village (apartments consist of 2
rooms, kitchen with a refrigerator and a cooker, shower room and toilet);
- season ticket for all kind of public transport;
- souvenir of Ice Hockey World Championship 2014.
Additional services: sightseeing tours, rent of conference halls.
3) Family-package includes the following services:
- tickets to matches;
- accommodation in Fan-village (apartments consist of 2 rooms, kitchen
with a refrigerator and a cooker, shower room and toilet);
- season ticket for all kind of public transport;
- souvenir of Ice Hockey World Championship 2014 for children.
4) Corporate package includes the following services:
- basic services: accommodation in Fan-village or in dormitories of
Minsk, tickets to morning and day matches, sightseeing tours;
- additional services: souvenirs, city maps, nutrition, etc.
To simplify the process of booking tour packages for Ice Hockey World
