TQA
The all-around revolving door
The TQA is Boon Edam’s smallest but most popular automatic
revolving door (the most sold in the world). Designed with the same
technology and safety systems as our larger doors, the TQA provides
maximum value at a significantly lower price point.
The TQA is a fully automatic, 3-wing revolving door. At rest, the door
waits for approaching traffic. Microwave motion detectors mounted on
the canopy above both throat openings detect pedestrians and signal
the motor to rotate the doorset.
At 10’0” or 12’0” in diameter, the TQA provides a comfortable
compartment size for moderate pedestrian traffic. The 12-foot door
can also accommodate wheelchairs.
Tournex
The spacious revolving door
With the Tournex you can welcome a large number of visitors
into your building. Day in and day out, this quiet, reliable and
spacious revolving door offers extremely safe and comfortable
access.
The Tournex is a fully automatic revolving door available in
both 3-wing and 4-wing configurations. Two standard models –
the Tournex Showcase and Tournex Star – are available in sizes
ranging from 12’0” to 20’0” in diameter.
Although both models offer a glass center core, the Showcase
model offers a functional display case. Special profiles and
finishes are available to match your building.
Duotour
The most versatile revolving door
Boon Edam’s Duotour is a spacious, 2-wing automatic revolving door
designed for smooth operation in heavy traffic flow applications, such
as hotels, airports, hospitals and supermarkets.
The Duotour is available in two models: the Duotour AC and the
Duotour AS. The Duotour AS has integrated, automatic sliding doors
so you can choose between using the revolving door or sliding doors,
depending on the weather and the traffic requirements. Available
diameters range from 12’0” to 18’0”.

Twintour
Unique high capacity revolving door
Boon Edam’s Twintour defies simple description. More than a revolving door, the Twintour is a revolving door concept. This unique
concept consists of two revolving doors connected with one another via an existing or specially constructed portal.
Each door set of the Twintour consists of two wings synchronized to rotate at 90-degrees opposed to one
another. The Twintour is one of the most economical doors of the entire range of revolving doors in terms of
the energy it consumes and the energy it saves.
The Twintour is able to allow access to an unprecedented number of visitors. The two-wing door set allows
the door to be traversed in a straight line. This system is especially user friendly – particularly for people with
shopping carts, wheelchairs or other large objects.
Available in 10’0” through 12’0” diameters, the
Twintour is ideal for airports, train and subway
stations, hospitals, supermarkets and shopping
centers.

array of standard safety sensors incorporated into our entire product line, Boon Edam safeguards the user while still providing a
comfortable and convenient entrance.
A system of redundant and overlapping safety sensors are integrated into our automatic revolving doors to provide the safest
possible operation available in the industry today. The sensors are positioned to create a safety system that will stop the rotation
of the door before contact with a pedestrian might occur.

Technical characteristics
The drive system consists of AC motors with Frequency Controllers. 208V 1-phase electrical service is required. The Frequency
Controller permits independent, digital settings for rotation speeds and motor torque. This allows the proper speed and torque to
be set for each environment.
