WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW….
Lots of great energy is coming out of CRCNA and we want you to be informed! August 2017 seems like
a long time from now, but when planning an event for 2,000 people from over 1,000 churches, we want
YOU to be IN THE KNOW!
Here’s what is being planned for the CRCNA churches:
 Who’s invited? Any member of your congregation that gives of their personal time, energy,
and heart to minister to those God is sending to your church community.
 When and Where is this event? It’s at the Marriott Renaissance Center in Detroit, right on the
river that joins US and Canada. This event will join our Canadian and US servants together to
share ideas, concepts, and tools with each other.
 WHY are we holding this event? We all know that churches rely on more than just ordained
staff to make them function. When these leaders run dry, ministry falters! We want to pour into
your volunteers and leaders with fresh ideas, exciting options, and insights from experts from
all over North America. This will be the perfect opportunity for your members to be blessed by
others. Our time together will be Prompted by Love, Inspired by Hope based on I Thess. 1: 2-5.
 Are there costs? Many of the costs associated with this event will be covered through a
generous sponsor however there will still be costs for every participant. Early registration will
open mid-January and could be as low as $65/person. This fee will cover the cost of admission
to all of the events of Inspire 2017 including all sessions and food. Lodging and transportation
costs are in addition. Many churches are considering helping those in their congregations to
help pay these expenses. Some are considering funding the entire cost, while others are opting
to pay only the registration. If your church is not in a position to help cover any of the costs, we
are hoping to offer scholarships as well.
 What will attendees find at the event? In addition to gatherings of worship and praise, your
participants can expect to find breakout session on various topics, expo participants offering
tools and services for church needs, and connections to folks from all over North America. We
have four dynamic keynote speakers lined up as well as dozens of excellent session leaders. Our
hope is that all participants will come away from the event having experienced inspiring
conversations, connections to new ministry partners, and exposure to new ideas that will result
in revived ministry. There will be opportunity to pray with others, exchange ideas, explore local
ministry, and hear from people who have real life experience and expertise in church ministry.
It promises to be a time of filling!
 How can we share this information with our members? You are a crucial part of making this
event a success. Please share bulletin announcements about Inspire 2017 with people in your
church and consider promoting the event to your church in January when the registration opens.

 How can you engage in the event now? Please be in prayer for the planning, the presenters,
and the attendees that consider this opportunity. God is at work in our churches. Pray that
God will use this opportunity to bless those churches even more.
