It is very difficult, and it shows the audience what it is like to breathe for an individual who has emphysema on a daily basis, not even doing physical activity. (People with asthma are excluded from this segment for health reasons). Two balloons are needed per presentation. The presenter calls two volunteers from the audience to have a balloonblowing race. Although beforehand one balloon is cut slightly so it cannot inflate. The volunteers blow the balloons and one person obviously wins (the un-cut balloon).
