Public Spaces Protection Order: Dog Control on
the Isles of Scilly
Under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, the Council of the Isles of Scilly
intends to put in place a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). This will replace the current Byelaws
for the Regulation of Dogs on St. Mary’s, Isles of Scilly and upon implementation the PSPO will have
island wide coverage (with the exception of Tresco).
The views of our residents, visitors and businesses are important to the Council in this matter so we
welcome your comments. Please take a moment to complete this short survey. The public
consultation period for the PSPO will run for six weeks from Friday 29 April 2016 and will conclude
at 4:30pm on Friday 10 June 2016.
(Any personal information provided will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
The Council of the Isles of Scilly will not share information with anyone without your consent)
