boys team charity is a 501(c)3
organization that has a national
governing board and geographic
specific leagues. Leagues are
organized by grade level and have
classes for 7th - 12th grade boys.
boys team charity Goals:
1. Serve the Local Community-Develop a
sense of social responsibility.
2. Promote Personal Growth-Build self
esteem and a giving spirit.
3. Strengthen the Family RelationshipDeepen bonds with parents by volunteering
through boys team charity activities.
4. Develop Team Skills-Cultivate respect and
appreciation of others by working as a team
and creating friendships.
5. Offer Educational Opportunities-Provide
young men with the experiences that foster
their community responsibilities and goals.
The boys team charity Roadrunner League members live in Scottsdale, Phoenix and
surrounding areas. Like all btc Leagues, membership is via a sponsorship by current

btc Team Membership and Team Coaches:
Membership is a son/parents (TeamMate/Coaches)
cooperation. Each member is a general member, plus a
member of a smaller grade specific team.
The btc calendar runs from May 1st through April 30th.
btc’s goal is to provide volunteer opportunities for our
members in order to foster the desire to give back to the
community through participation in charitable activities.

a btc General Meeting
btc hours requirements are listed below, but we encourage
our members to give back well beyond the minimum.
Grades 7, 8 & 9 – minimum of 15 Philanthropy hours and
6 League hours annually for both TeamMate and Coaches
Grades 10, 11 & 12 – minimum of 10 Philanthropy hours
and 6 League hours annually for both TeamMate and
Coaches
Personal growth and development are at the core of the
btc League hours requirements. We have General League
meetings several times per year, parts of which will feature
guest speakers. Speakers have ranged from leaders in the
local community to professional athletes.
In addition to general meetings, btc holds grade level
meetings that provide team building and education on
topics such as high school and college preparedness, car
maintenance, personal fitness, and hygiene.
