One of the most simple ways to do this is through introducing ice breakers at your meetings. There are some good ones that have worked. Some include ZIP, ZAP, ZOP, where the wind blows, the paper agenda and the classic: the human chain. Others that are good ARCMB YAB Members Do the Chain are Never Have I Ever and Two Truths and A Lie. Some people are not the ice breaker type so another tactic would be to go around the table and have everyone do small introductions. One popular idea that has worked with some of the groups is to introduce your name, hometown and ice cream. The next time you have a meeting, try these methods out and see if it works.
