Newmarket partners with Upper Canada Mall to open children’s play area at the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex Newmarket, ONTARIO, January 6, 2017 – In partnership with Upper Canada Mall, the Town of Newmarket is pleased to offer Newmarket residents a new indoor Children’s Play Park at Ray Twinney Recreation Complex (100 Eagle Street West). The indoor play park is scheduled to open in March 2017. All the equipment for the indoor Children’s Play Park– previously located at Upper Canada Mall – will be donated to the Town for community use, free of charge. “Upper Canada Mall is a strong community partner that continues to provide opportunities that help make Newmarket even better,” says Tony Van Bynen. “As we work to provide our community with enhanced recreational opportunities, these partnerships will continue to be so important. We are grateful for Upper Canada Mall for its generous donation.” The indoor Children’s Play Park features the soft foam play area, with equipment such as slides, play houses and more. “Upper Canada Mall is proud of the partnership that we have built with the Town of Newmarket and given the affinity for the play park by parents and children in our community, relocating the play to the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex was a natural fit”, says Upper Canada Mall General Manager, Bri-Ann Stuart. “Upper Canada Mall will continue to introduce initiatives and services to enhance the customer experience and we look forward to sharing our development plans in the near future.” Community members visiting Ray Twinney Recreation Complex can also participate in our daily drop-in programs, which include swimming and skating.
