WHAT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PAYS FOR
Subscriptions are the money paid for each individual player to be part of Springfield Park
JFC. The amount is agreed annually by the committee, with input from all committee
members and parents who attend the AGM and in particular from the treasurer who
advises as to the future cost of the club.
If your child wishes to join our club and play matches they must first register to the club,
this ensures they are covered by the club’s insurance. The fee is due between June / July
before the start of the season.
Registration fee £20, any child signing on after 15th January will have this fee halved.
Parents who have more than one child will pay a reduced rate of £10 for siblings. Training
is charged at £3 per session, only if your child attends this is to cover the cost of training
venue and pay the bills. Match fees are £3 this covers the cost of the referee or the match
venue.

Match kits are supplied by the club and remain the property of the club, you will be
supplied this in the pre-season. If your child grows out of the kit, it must be returned for
exchange. First team kit is not for training in and only to be used on match days.
Training kits are available to buy at £15 per kit, these are shirts with the club badge
embroidered on, shorts and socks. They are good quality and excellent value for money.
Although not compulsory the children like them.
We also sell club coats with ‘Springfield Park JFC’ on the rear of the coat, these coats cost
£30. They are an all season coats and are waterproof and warm.

We also do a club package which includes all of the above £60 a saving of £5
A copy of your child’s birth certificate and two passport pictures will be required for
registration every year.

SPRINGFIELD PARK JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB
Springfield park JFC started in 2014, with the objective of offering football training /
development to children within Rochdale.
Since our start our start we now have over 100 children with ages ranging from U7’s up to
U13’s. This is one of the fastest growing clubs with Rochdale.
Training and Match day
Winter training
The whole club trains at Oulder Hill High school, Rochdale.
The training times are as follows:
U7-U8 Typhoon- U9 Storm -U10 Tornado, Wednesday Nights 6pm – 7pm
We are a charter standard Football club which was awarded in 2014 and has been
revalidated again this year.
U12 Hurricane – U13 Thunder, Wednesday nights 7pm – 8pm
Each of our coaches / volunteers have had an enhanced FA CRB and each team has at
least one Level 1 FA coach as a minimum.
U13 A, Wednesday night 8pm – 9pm
The club is entirely volunteer run, with all coaches, committee, administrators and fund
raisers working tirelessly to offer the thrills and spills of the beautiful game to hundreds of
youngsters.
Our home ground is at Springfield park, off Bolton Road, Rochdale. Throughout our hard
work and help from Rochdale MBC and link for like we have one pitch, storage, toilet
facilities and access to a café located next to the pitch. Our vision is for further pitches,
changing facilities and Club house within this 30achre park.
There are plenty of positions available for our parents to become involved so if you have
any spare time we would love to hear from you.
So enjoy your time with Springfield JFC. Join in, cheer when we win, support when we
don’t but most of all have FUN.

Respect Code of Conduct for Youth Players
Respect Code of Conduct for spectators and parents/carers
We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behavior in the game.
We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behavior in
the game.
As a player, you have a big part to play. That’s why The FA is asking every player to
follow a Respect Code of Conduct.
This club is supporting The FA’s Respect programme to ensure football can be enjoyed in a safe,
positive environment.
When playing football, I will:
Remember children’s football is a time for them to develop their technical, physical, tactical and
social skills. Winning isn’t everything.
Always play to the best of my ability Play fairly – I won’t cheat, complain or waste time. Play your part and observe The FA’s Respect Code of Conduct for spectators and parents/carers at all
times.
I will:
Respect my team-mates, the other team, the referee or my coach/manager. Play by the rules, as directed by the referee Shake hands with the other team Receive a formal warning from the coach or the club committee
Be dropped or substituted
• Be suspended from training
• Be required to leave the club.
In addition:
• My club, County FA or The FA may
make my parent or carer aware of any infringements of the Code
of Conduct
• The FA/County FA could impose a fine and suspension against my club.

• Listen and respond to what my coach/team manager tells me • Talk to someone I trust or the club welfare officer if I’m unhappy about anything at my
club. I understand that if I do not follow the Code, any/all of the following
actions may be taken by my club, County FA or The FA. I may: • Be required to apologies to my team-mates, the other team, referee or team manager
• Remember that children play for FUN • Applaud effort and good play as well as success • Always respect the match officials’ decisions • Remain outside the field of play and within the Designated Spectators’ Area (where provided)
•Let the coach do their job and not confuse the players by telling them what to do • Encourage the players to respect the opposition, referee and match officials
• Avoid criticising a player for making a mistake – mistakes are part of learning • Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting, or abusive language or behaviour. I understand
that if I do not follow the Code, any/all of the following actions may be taken by my club,
County FA, league or The FA. I may be:
• Issued with a verbal warning from a club or
league official
• Required to meet with the club, league or CFA Welfare Officer •
Required to meet with the club committee
• Obliged to undertake an FA education
course
• Obliged to leave the match venue by the club
• Requested by the club not to
attend future games
• Suspended or have my club membership removed
• Required to
leave the club along with any dependents. In addition:
• The FA/County FA could
impose a fine and/or suspension on the club. Springfield Park JFC Club Shop
As part of moving the club forward we have introduced a club shop, this allows parents to
purchase various items with the clubs Logo embroidered on certain items of clothing. By
buying items of the shop website this makes money for the club and also keeps the
children looking warm and smart.
