Click FormatÆBackground
Click the drop down arrow for the color selection and click More

Click on the Custom tab and the RGB values are shown.

Select the text using your mouse (could be on the Slide Master or any text box)
Click FormatÆFont
Click the drop down arrow for the color
selection and click More Colors

Finding RGB values of graphics
To find the RGB values of areas of graphics, such as photographs, logos or graphic
backgrounds, you will need color picker software such as ColorPic at
http://www.iconico.com/colorpic/.
