TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS
Please make sure that the iron has been plugged in correctly.
If none or too little steam is being emitted, please make sure:

The temperature control is not set too low. Turn the temperature control to the
required setting to produce steam.
There is enough water in the water tank. Otherwise fill the water tank.
Auto-Off* is not active.
Below are the instructions for a correct use of the DW9081. The would allow to have a
proper steam:
Fill the water tank with regular tap water to the max line
Plug in the iron
Set the temperature dial to the proper temperature for steam

One the dial - ** to ***setting
On the display – Wool to Linen
o The iron automatically adjusts the steam level to the match the fabric setting
chosen
Let the iron heat up to temperature

Orange light on means still heating up
When light goes out the iron is ready to use
For extra steam during use press the red steam button under the handle
For vertical steam press the left steam button
The Steamium iron produces lots of steam when needed
*For safety if the iron is left on unused it will power off automatically after 30 seconds in
the horizontal position and after 8 minutes in the vertical position.
The blue auto off indicator will start flashing
To restart the iron, just move it gently until the auto off indicator stops flashing, and let the
iron heat up to temperature (orange light will go out – as per above)
* can't regulate how much steam goes into you clothes?
If the iron is leaking, this could be due to an overuse of shot of steam button. Please make
sure to allow more time between each shot.
The soleplate temperature might also be too low:

Please make sure to set the temperature control to a temperature high enough to
produce steam.
Also when you turn on the iron, please make sure to wait for the orange light to
go off before starting ironing. Otherwise, the soleplate is not heated up enough to
guarantee perfect steam. This could lead to leakage issue.
*The iron keeps defaulting to the auto off setting within a few seconds of plugging it in
For safety if the iron is left on unused it will power off automatically after 30 seconds in the
horizontal position and after 8 minutes in the vertical position.

Please make sure to leave the iron vertically between each garment ironing.
