Benjamin Edlavitch holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois at
Chicago (cum laude) and a Juris Doctor from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. Ben focuses on
procuring domestic and foreign patents in the fields of computer hardware and software,
telecommunications, computer networking, semiconductors, e-commerce technologies, and
mechanical, electromechanical, and chemical arts. He also has supported patent litigation, IP
due diligence and freedom to operate assessments, and managed IP portfolios and strategic
procurement of patents, copyrights, and trademarks as an in-house attorney. Ben is a member
