JOINT CONFERENCE GOLF OUTING
THE VENDORS BEST BALL SCRAMBLE EVENT
We are back! That’s right; we are back and better than ever. The Joint Conference golf outing is up and running with
several new and improved activities with fun and games for all good hearted souls willing to brave the environment. Ok
that sounds good but what are you really trying to say?
Well the Joint Conference golf outing is set and ready to go for June 19, 2012, with a Tee Time of 11:30. Last year we
made several changes to the event so that the Vendors and participants would have a very enjoyable afternoon. And you
know what? Those attending had a great time. We think with a few minor changes, this year’s event will be even more
enjoyable.
This years’ event will have a few more activities, challenges and prizes. As you know we had many winners last year and
they came in all different shapes, sizes, genders and even something that resembled good golf. This event is not for the
good/serious golfers, it is for individuals who want to have fun with the vendors and friends. Good golf??? No!
One very special prize this year, besides mucho cash, is a one of a kind putter from Pebble Beach. It has magic in it, but
more importantly, it looks really good and it is one of only a handful made last year (see the attached picture). It really is
very nice. The putter will be given to the winner of the putting contest at the awards banquet. Also, another very
important point for everyone to take note of, this year’s winners must be present at the awards event in order to collect
their prizes. So please make a point on attending. Another first this year is we are only accepting 72 players for our event,
once that number is reached we will close off registration. So again please do not wait to the last minute and miss out on a
very enjoyable event with your friends.

New Event
A fun new event this year of special note will be the best dress Male and Female golfers. This event has been named the
Casey/Hach Award. In honor of Tom Casey’s and Robert Hach’s outstanding golf outfits from years gone by. This winner
will be selected by those in attendance so come on out in your best, well maybe not your best, but your most impressive
golf attire. I will leave it at that. This is a cash prize so you might want to give it a go. Casey and Hach are available for
consultation as they have in the past worn some very impressive Scottish attire.
Let me once again remind the Vendors that this is your event so please invite your customers, friends and future customers
to our great golf outing event. Golf participants do not have to be signed up for the conference in order to play in the golf
outing. We would like them to be associated with the conference but vendors can bring new people to the golf outing with
the hopes that they might participate next year. This is your event, take advantage of it to reward your good customers and
introduce new customers to the wonderful world of safe school busing.
Please remember, golfing ability should not play a factor in whether or not you participate. Just ask Casey, Mike, Erzell,
Bill. This is all about having fun. We all buy supplies, have your vendors buy a foursome and come out with them and have
a good time.
